We are thrilled to announce the upgrade of our state of the art bathing plant at our Essex depot. Our depot has gone through extensive upgrades, starting in late 2024 and concluding in early March 2025.
Now, this means that our team can now handle more orders, fulfil more daily capacity, and process orders faster than ever before.
Opened in 2016, the iMix Concrete Essex Depot, based in South Ockendon, is a flagship hub for our operations across London and the South East. This has been the base that has allowed us to support projects of all sizes across London, the South East and Hertfordshire.
With these upgrades complete, our capacity has more than doubled, from 400m3 per day, to over 800m3 per day.
As a result, iMix Concrete’s team can cater to the largest projects across the region. This includes supporting projects that are time-sensitive, and take place at night, or out of regular working hours.
We now also provide concrete collection at our Essex depot, for customers who require smaller quantities of concrete for projects. This saves both time and money, and ensures a completely flexible, dependable service. You can even place an order with us, and collect it on the same day.
