At iMix Concrete, we now offer flexible concrete collection from our depot in South Ockendon, Essex. Customers can order ahead and collect concrete directly from our depot.
For quantities of 1m3 and up. Our concrete collection service is available from Monday-Friday: 7.30am – 5pm and Saturday: 8am – 1pm.

Site Health & Safety with iMix Concrete
At iMix Concrete, health and safety is our top priority, at all times. We are fully accredited concrete suppliers, working under the BSI kitemark, and part of the trusted Flowing Screeds Association, amongst others.
When delivering orders to our customers’ sites, our trained team of experts operate under the very highest health and safety standards. When it comes to concrete collection, we have to work with our customers to ensure these same standards are adhered to, and the safety of both site visitors and our teams is guaranteed.
What are the Site Rules?
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times on site. This includes a Hi-Viz jacket, steel toe cap boots, a safety helmet, and protective eyeglasses. All site rules are displayed at the site entrance; please familiarise yourself with them before entering. You may be refused entry without the correct PPE.
What happens when I arrive to collect my order?
Upon arrival, please park your vehicle in the designated parking area outside the site and use the walkways to reach the site office. A sales team member will take your order and payment and guide you through the next steps. Be aware of moving vehicles and machinery, and make sure you understand the site rules outlined at the front gate before entering.
How do I load the concrete into my vehicle?
After placing your order at the site office, a staff member will direct you to the batch office with a loading ticket. Please wait in your vehicle until called. When ready for loading, the plant supervisor will direct you to the loading area. Follow all instructions carefully. Once loaded, the plant supervisor will notify you, allowing you to leave the site safely.
How heavy will the concrete be?
Ensure the vehicle used for concrete collection is suitable in terms of size and weight capacity, as 1m³ of concrete can weigh up to 2.4 tonnes depending on moisture content.
Please note that iMix Concrete accepts no responsibility for any damage to vehicles on-site.
