iMix Concrete offers engineered, low carbon concrete alternatives to the traditional CEM1 concrete mixes that most ready-mix producers supply. Alongside our ready mixed concrete, volumetric concrete and concrete pump hire.
By blending alternatives such as GGBS, we are able to reduce the amount of cement required in the concrete mix without compromising the quality and strength of the concrete. Depending on the specifications required, we are able to achieve over 50% CO2 reduction in our concrete, and in some cases can even achieve greater strengths compared to traditional equivalent CEM1 mixes.
What is Eco Concrete?
Eco concrete is a low carbon concrete mix that has been precisely developed to provide a more sustainable solution, which still offers all the benefits and utility of conventional concrete. This is achieved by minimising the use of conventional cement, and keeping the volume of embodied carbon in the final concrete to the minimum.
